“It’s best to keep the rest of your makeup minimal and soft. Fresh, glowing, hydrated skin; a soft highlight on the eyes; and a touch of rosy blush will complement a bright or bold lip well,” says Alexandria Gilleo of Dutchess County-based Bridal by Alexandria. “I recommend using a lip pencil to line the lips and prevent any color from bleeding.”

Gilleo shared seven of her favorite bright-and-bold lip colors for brides. “Just remember that with confidence you can rock any shade,” she says. We couldn’t agree more.
